Vireon Dynamics is an AI infrastructure studio from Australia. We make Liminal AI — a free, open-source coding agent — and partner with teams who need serious agent infrastructure without vendor lock-in.
Why infrastructure, not another app?
The interesting work in AI right now isn't another chat product. It's the scaffolding — the loop around the model. Retries. Tool dispatch. Memory. Context compression. Sub-agent orchestration. The parts that turn a stochastic generator into something that can actually finish a multi-step task without falling over.
Most of that scaffolding is being built inside hosted products you don't get to see. Vendor agents are black boxes — opinionated, opaque, and rented by the seat. They decide which tools you get, which models you can use, where your data lives, and what they charge you on top.
We think a meaningful share of engineers want the opposite of that. They want to see the loop, swap the model, host the memory, and own the rails. Vireon Dynamics is the studio building for them.

What we optimize for
Reliability over polish
The loop has to keep running when the model stalls, the network blips, or the response is malformed. Demo polish is downstream of that.
Observable by default
Every tool call, every state change, every reasoning step is on screen. If you can't watch the loop work, you can't trust it.
Your machine, your data
No telemetry. No account. No proxy. Your model traffic goes straight to your provider. Memory lives in files you can grep.
Open and forkable
Where it makes sense, we ship MIT-licensed. Build on it. Fork it. Take it private. We make money by being good at supporting teams that pick us — not by trapping them.
Compounding, not flashy
Recipe libraries, failure digests, outcome scoring, background consolidation — our systems get sharper the more you use them. Quiet, structural intelligence.
Model-agnostic, on purpose
We pick defaults that work well. But every layer above the provider treats the model as a swappable component. No vendor lock-in baked into the design.

Vireon — from vireo, a small, persistent songbird, and the engineering suffix -on (electron, photon, neutron). A small unit of focused energy. Dynamics — the study of systems in motion.
We picked it because it's what we want the company to be: small, persistent, and deeply concerned with how systems actually behave under load — not how they look on a landing page.
